No artificial sweeteners – The food and beverage industry is increasingly replacing sugar or corn syrup with artificial sweeteners. Artificial sweeteners cost the food industry only a fraction of the cost of natural sweeteners. Artificial sweeteners are synthetic substitutes for sugar. There is on going controversy regarding the use of artificial sweeteners and whether they pose any health risks. At candico we aren’t prepared to take any chances and our customers are our priority. All our products are sweetened with cane sugar only.
